Hello, my name is Cynthia Creech, and I'd like to welcome you to my website. It seems almost unbelievable that it's been 20 years since a trailer loaded with 15 Randall cows, heifers, and bulls in poor physical condition arrived at my small farm in Louisville, Tennessee. My purpose here is to tell the story of how from that humble beginning, the Randall cattle breed has grown to include over 300 animals, on 28 farms in 15 states and in Canada. This story begins in Louisville, winds its way through three more farms, two in Tennessee and one in Virginia, and ends in the present day with my now 100 plus "girls" having come full circle back to their native New England. We are now residing in the Northwest Connecticut Hills, on a farm quite similar in climate and terrain to the Randall's native place in Sunderland, Vermont.
It is my pleasure to also share with you some photos of my beloved Randall cattle. It is not my purpose here, however, to list the attributes of the Randall breed, or to impart breeding or other information. For that, please visit The Randall Cattle Registry Inc. website which should answer most any question you may have about the breed. I am involved with that site as well, as President of the Registry. The girls and I have also been featured in the December 9, 2005 issue of The Litchfield County Times, in an article titled "Kent Home to Randall Cattle".
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy your visit.
Cynthia S. Creech.
